Frauenkirche, Dresden, in the evening sun. This was bombed to bits by the allies during the first half of last century, and has only just been rebuilt. As many of the old bricks as possible were used in its restoration, which are visibly darker than the new ones. The statue in the foreground is of Martin Luther.
