The Semper Opera House, Dresden, lit up by the evening sun. The south side of the river Elbe contains the Dresden old town and has this great collection of ornate buildings with a short walking distance from each other. The cathedral, art galleries and the Frauenkirche are all near here; I didn't have a lot of time for sightsseing so it was great to be able to still see most of the major buildings. This looks particularly good by night, but I don't have a photo that really does it justice.
